Navigating around Whiteboard is super simple. It all starts at your Global Navigation.
- To get to your Global Navigation, click on the top of your navigation column or by clicking the menu icon on one of mobile apps.
- From your global navigation, you can get anywhere in Whiteboard. This is where you will have access to all your workspaces, your notifications, your account settings. As well as your two Global Views. You can learn more about your Global Views here whenever you want.
- Once you click on a workspace, it will take you into the workspace and put you in the to-do section. Now you are in the workspace and are presented with the workspace navigation.Workspaces consist of 5 sections: My Tasks, Activity, To-do’s, Files and People.
My To-dos is where you will find all the tasks that are assigned to you in that workspace. Here you can efficiently plan you day by moving to-dos from your Later list to your Today list. Here you can focus on what you are needing to accomplish today. You can also view the tasks you have completed in this workspace.
Activity is where you will find the history of everything that has taken place in the workspace. From when to-do’s where created and marked completed to when you make changes, comments or attach files. You can find it all here!
To-do’s is where all your tasks and lists live. This is also where you can leave comments, attach files and edit to-do’s.
Files is a great place to store attachments and documents that are related to the workspace but not directly to a task. For example if you are working on a client project for work, you can store requirement documents and agreements.
People is where you will find others you are collaborating with in the workspace, if it is a shared workspace.
You can click on the individuals name and view all the to-do’s that they have or have done in the workspace.
You can also invite others to collaborate in the workspace from here as well by tapping on the ‘+’.
Overviews are where you can find a consolidation of information from across all the workspaces you are a part of. My Tasks will consolidate all the tasks assigned to you and Activity will show you a history from across all your workspaces in one feed.
