Gaining the most from Whiteboard

Workspaces are great to keep things organized based upon what you are wanting to accomplish with them. Everything in Whiteboard is organized within a Workspace. This is where you will create and mark to-do’s as done, store files, documents and collaborate with others.

You have the ability to create personal workspaces to manage the tasks in your personal life and having the ability to create shared workspaces to collaborate with others. The great thing about having personal workspaces is that you can keep your personal items private from your work items so that your co-workers and clients can’t see what you are needing to accomplish.

Personal workspaces have been used for a multitude of things, from keeping track of your daily to-dos, keeping track of a remodel project, to planning a vacation and more.

Shared workspaces are not only great for collaborating with co-workers and clients at work but also for other projects that you have going on in your life. A shared workspace works great planning an event with your friends and family or with an organization you are apart of. Shared workspaces makes communication with others more effective and brings everyone up-to-speed with what’s going on with a project. It is also a great way to get others more involved and invested in what it is you are accomplishing. It is the best way to collaborate and accomplish tasks!

Where to-do’s become more than a to-do but an effective way of accomplishing the most our of your day lies all within its actions. For the tasks that are assigned to you, you have the ability to not only assign a Due Date but also a Start Date which allows you to designate when you are to start working on a to-do. I mean, do you start working on every to-do the day it is due? We don’t so we want to be notified when we need to start working on it so that it is completed by its due date.

How often is it that you are able to get to everything on your days to-do list completed? Not enough, right? But it’s not your fault. Either something took longer than expected because you started it on the day it was due or something came up in your day that didn’t let you get to it leaving you feeling unfulfilled, yet it feels so good, like a sense of accomplishment when you are able to finish your day with nothing on your list. So we came up with a couple of other great actions so you conquer what feels like the never-ending to-do list. Whether you swipe or hover and click, with to-dos that are assigned to you, you have the ability to add to-do’s to your list for Today or mark them off till Later and designate when you want to follow up on them and appear in your Today list. This helps you clear the noise and clutter in your day and eliminate the stress of being overwhelmed by the big picture.

Within the ‘My Tasks’ section of a workspace or globally, you can view your to-do list for today. From here you can swipe or mark to-dos as done or push them off till later if you can’t get to them that day. Now you can end everyday having conquered the never-ending to-do list! Still want to power through some more to-do’s? Go to your ‘Later’ list and push more tasks to ‘Today’! Accomplish more in your day with the least effort by only focusing on the tasks that matter most.

Make an attachment! With Whiteboard not only can you attach files, documents, photos and locations directly to a task but you can also attach files directly to a workspace. Files that are uploaded in the Files section are usually those that are related to the workspace but not directly to a specific tasks such as agreements, requirements documents for a project!
